I know this is "wedding season" and I am at that age where a majority of my friends are settling down and making the big leap. I have a friend now is getting married the first week in May. I have her bachelorette party and bridal shower coming up. I don't really know wedding ettiquette but do I bring the wedding gift to the bridal shower?

Then I received a bridal shower invite for this girl who worked at my old office. I hardly speak to her and I'm not even invited to the wedding, so why would I spend my hard earned money on a gift?!!? It's almost as if she wanted to hold a shower to get more gifts out of people. Being just a lil greedy...

Sorry, this post is a little boring. There isn't much going on this week...

HAPPY HUMP DAY!

The bridal shower is usually something fun that the bride has. I wouldn't bring the wedding gift there. Maybe if you find something fun just for her.

I would purchase something off their registry and it will send it to the appropriate place.

As far as coworker, if you don't want to go, don't go. :)

If you liked that person, you could go anyway and probably get away with not bringing a gift.

Basically all of my cousins are getting married off. I'm the youngest... so if I turn 30 and am not married, I can't point them to any other cousins. I'll just be the loser.

Good luck!
